~to Dominic, who is everything in a son a mother would want and whom I love unconditionally. "God Bless the Child that's Got his Own," – Billie Holiday, and Dominic has his own.

~to Philip, who has been there all the time, every time, and journeys with me; I will always love you, B-man. The B-man and I have rode all the waves, I could not do it without you.

~to my grandfather, Henry Clay Cox, without whose nurturing and love I could not have survived; your life is the one I emulate the most

~to my best friend and more, the brilliant and wonderful Michael M.D. he has been the most important person in so many ways. Michael, whom I owe my medical survival to in a large way to his generosity, medical intelligence and huge friendship, Thank you.

~the inspiration and laughs provided by Oscar of the band WAR

~the truly amazing inspiration while part of the production of a performance by Bo Diddily due to his unbelievable talent

~the energy provided for some years by my own dance company, the "In Your Face" dancers, who were ceaselessly hard-working, committed, and talented; I thank them for their hard work on my choreography and for their help in bringing my visions to life

~thank you to Eric Gale, who I learned so much from as I stood near his guitar during performances; rest in peace, Eric

~to Scott Anderson, a musician and friend who supported me in my dreams and encouraged me to sing

~to every model who ever walked my choreography in one of many fashion shows and every dancer who ever danced my steps, Thank you.

~Mike, a detective whose honest devotion to justice provided me with strength

~to my friends during those days at Sutton's Boutique in Arizona...Dawn, Terry and Susan, whose mother I hold special in my heart; thank you

~The man whose surgical skills saved my life, Dr. Martin Weinand of the University of Arizona's medical school

~thank you to all my dance instructors all over the country...you know who you are

~the talented and giving crew during my performances at Tippintine's in New Orleans

~to Rocky Banks, my friend and fellow dancer, who reminds me of the performance for Cinco de Mayo when we flew through and around and inside and outside in our usual technique of "match this step"

~Gaddabout Hair Salon and Leigh Stivers, an internationally renowned hair dresser and friend whose hair styles took me everywhere in the world; they helped to define me "so I didn't have to speak"

~the wisdom I learned when meeting and speaking with Mr. Taj Mahal during his show in Scottsdale, Arizona; I have never forgotten his words and sense of calm under pressure

~Prince's Glam Slam and the band's warm generosity, and for the opportunity to be there when Miles Davis played one of his last notes, many thanks for your class and professionalism.

~Kathryn at Limelight who introduced me to the joy one could find in teaching children; I also cannot forget her wonderful lead in the commercial I choreographed

~please watch for Nick Gomez, a talented person and working actor

~thank you to Andi McCafferty for her help during the times with the "In Your Face" dancers

~To Dell of New York and New Orleans, you are a wonderful agent and gosh, what a girl's girl, helping me in my worst professional disaster and not even blinking; you have style and are so very unique...no wonder you have such wonderful friends; I will never forget you having me "drink salad," ha, the green drink; I love it...you had to be there

~the amazing body-building skill of Michelle Branch, which enlightened me while working with her on choreography

~Andrew's House of Seafood in New Orleans, where the loosest jam sessions took place and my dancing always felt free

~to Matthew Chuvarsky for serving me coffee and showing he cared throughout my near death experience

~the uniqueness of my family, whose genetics helped make me into who I am

~the hilarity of doing choreography for the "All Greek Fashion Show" at the University of Arizona
